One Interview, Eight Assets: Building Adyen's Repurposing Pipeline
Objective: Given one 40-minute executive interview transcript, build a repurposing plan that maps it into the lesson's 8-piece output model.
Adyen's content team just recorded a 40-minute interview with a payments exec on embedded finance trends. You have one repurposing cycle to turn it into a distribution plan before the team drafts anything.
Map the transcript's 5 quotable moments into the formats the lesson's pipeline defines, and assign an owner and AI-vs-human split to each.

The process
1 step
Step 01 of 01
The lesson's pipeline turns one 40-minute interview into a blog post, a newsletter excerpt, three LinkedIn posts, five video clips, and a thread, eight pieces from one source conversation.
Given this 5-quote transcript excerpt, which quote becomes the blog post's core argument, and which become standalone LinkedIn posts?
Procedure
- Paste the 5-quote transcript excerpt into a Google Doc
- Tag each quote with its target format (blog, newsletter, LinkedIn x3, clip, thread)
- Note who drafts each piece, AI first-pass or human first-pass, per the lesson's three-pass model
QUOTE 2 (the strongest, most specific claim) -> Blog post core argument, human-drafted intro, AI-structured body QUOTE 4 (a sharp one-liner on fraud rates) -> Standalone LinkedIn post, AI first-draft, human edit pass QUOTE 5 (a customer anecdote) -> Newsletter excerpt, human-written, no AI pass
Healthy
Each piece has an explicit AI-vs-human assignment and a target format before drafting starts.
Unhealthy
The team drafts all pieces from scratch instead of tagging and repurposing from the one source interview.
What this means
Repurposing planning happens before drafting, not after. Skipping this step is why teams create more content without extracting more value from what they already have.
So what do I do about it?
| Symptom | Action | Effort |
|---|---|---|
| The team is drafting each content piece from a blank page | Tag every quote in the source transcript with its target format before anyone opens a doc to draft | 30 min |
Final deliverable
A repurposing map assigning all 5 transcript quotes to their target format, owner, and AI-vs-human drafting split.

Success criteria
You're done when you can:
- Maps all 5 quotes to a specific format
- Assigns a clear AI-vs-human split per piece, not a blanket 'AI does everything'
