Diagnosing Go Digit's Embedded-Insurance Integration Loop

Go Digit General Insurance

Objective: Given a synthetic month-2 partner funnel export, apply the lesson's integration-loop KPI (percent of active partners with 3+ API integrations) to diagnose whether Go Digit's embedded-insurance loop is compounding or stalling.

You're a growth analyst at Go Digit General Insurance, the Bengaluru-headquartered, NSE-listed general insurer, reviewing how its API partner ecosystem (travel apps, fintech apps, and OEM dealerships embedding Go Digit's insurance APIs) is compounding.

Segment partners by how many Go Digit API products they've integrated, benchmark against the lesson's Slack-derived 3+ integration target, and diagnose where the loop is stalling.

The process

1 step

Step 01 of 01

Diagnosing an integration ecosystem loop against a 3+ integration KPI benchmark

The lesson's efficiency framework benchmarks the integration ecosystem loop by the percent of month-2 active users who've installed 3+ integrations, using Slack's >50% target as the bar for a loop that's genuinely compounding.

Of Go Digit's 210 month-2 active API partners, 74 have integrated 3+ insurance products (motor, travel, health) into their app, 91 have integrated exactly 1, and 45 have integrated 2. Against the lesson's 3+ integration benchmark, is this loop compounding or stalling, and which segment do you target first?

Google Sheets— Import the 210-row partner export, group by integration count.

Procedure

  1. Import and freeze the header row
  2. Group partners into 1, 2, and 3+ integration buckets
  3. Calculate the percent of month-2 actives at 3+ integrations
  4. Compare against the lesson's >50% Slack-derived benchmark
  5. Flag the 2-integration bucket as the highest-leverage nudge target (closest to the compounding threshold)
Sample output
Go Digit API partner ecosystem, month-2 integration depth

1 INTEGRATION: 91 partners (43%)
2 INTEGRATIONS: 45 partners (21%)
3+ INTEGRATIONS: 74 partners (35%)

BENCHMARK (lesson, Slack-derived): >50% at 3+ integrations
GAP TO BENCHMARK: -15 points
HIGHEST-LEVERAGE SEGMENT: 45 partners at exactly 2 integrations

Healthy

35%+ of month-2 actives sit at 3+ integrations and trending upward month over month.

Unhealthy

The majority of partners plateau at exactly 1 integration and never add a second.

What this means

At 35% against a >50% benchmark, the loop is under-compounding, the 2-integration bucket is the fastest path to close the gap since those partners have already cleared the harder first-integration hurdle.

So what do I do about it?

Final deliverable

An integration-depth funnel benchmarked against the lesson's 3+ integration KPI, with the highest-leverage segment flagged.

Success criteria

You're done when you can:

  • Correctly groups partners into the three integration-depth buckets
  • Benchmarks against the lesson's >50% target and identifies the highest-leverage segment to nudge
