Spot the Hallucination: Tearing Down an AI Campaign Package
Objective: Given a full multimodal AI output (image concept, caption, video script, hashtags) generated against a real campaign brief, apply Stage 2 cross-modal analysis and Stage 4 human review to catch every mismatch before it ships.
You're the campaign lead at Yatra Online, the Indian OTA. Your team fed a multimodal AI tool a brief for a premium, minimalist adventure-travel push aimed at Gen Z international travelers, and it returned a ready-to-post package in under two minutes.
Before anything ships, run the AI's output against the original brief the way Stage 4 of the lesson's playbook requires: find every claim, visual choice, and tone mismatch a confident-sounding AI slipped past its own generation step.

Specimens to review
Score every element of this output against the brief. Which choices are real defects that would embarrass the brand or overpromise to a customer, and which just look unusual but are actually fine?
BRIEF: Premium, minimalist adventure-travel campaign for Gen Z international travelers. Aspirational visuals, seamless-booking message, no discount language. AI OUTPUT: IMAGE CONCEPT: Backpacker at a cluttered, colorful street market stall, phone in hand, bright bokeh string-lights, price-tag stickers visible in the background. CAPTION: "Book your next escape with Yatra's price-lock guarantee, now with 24/7 live agent support on every hotel booking!" VIDEO SCRIPT (voiceover): "From flights to hotels to visa help, Yatra does it all. Call our helpline anytime, day or night." HASHTAGS: #BudgetTravel #DealsForDays #YatraGetaway VIDEO LENGTH: 14 seconds
Specimen: synthetic, realistic
Final deliverable
A scored defect list (critical / moderate / cosmetic) for the AI campaign package, with the three discount-language hashtags flagged for removal before anything publishes.
See a reference example
TBO Tek — AI Output Teardown (excerpt) CRITICAL 1. Image shows a generic conference-room stock photo; brief called for a real supplier dashboard screenshot. Do not publish. 2. Caption claims 'zero setup time,' a feature not in the product spec. MODERATE 3. CTA button copy says 'Free Trial' but the offer is a demo booking, not a trial. NOT A DEFECT - Caption length (312 characters) is within the platform's limit.
Success criteria
You're done when you can:
- Correctly flags all four real defects with the right severity
- Does not flag any of the three distractors as defects
- Ties each flagged defect back to the lesson concept that explains why it matters
